Specialists of the Institute participated in the Seminar on Regulatory and Legal Issues of RE on June 6-7, 2018, organized by the USAID program. As part of the seminar, an overview of global and regional trends in the development of renewable energy was presented, and the experience of neighboring states: Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia was reviewed. Effective and political instruments for supporting RE are considered. The experience of Kazakhstan in the first auctions of RE was presented.
